A Shorter Scottish Play,  by  Danny Kelly.

A radical distillation of Shakespeare’s Macbeth, using the first two acts of the play. Sound and movement will immerse the audience in the themes within the text.

Danny Kelly (they/he) is a multi-focused director, actor, singer, mover, makeup artist, and haunted attraction artist with a passion for bringing stories to life using untraditional methods. He is a Theatre Studies BA senior at UCONN, who is extremely excited to be working on another project through the support of the Dramatic Arts program. Through their studies at UCONN, they have been lucky enough to find themself working on a plethora of dramatic credits, including most recently directing Memories in Shadow alongside being the Director of Talent at Nightmare Acres, stage managing Horse Girls, and performing in shows such as Rent (CRT), Carrie (PTS), Firebringer (PTS). This upcoming semester, they will also be a part of two more productions, acting in Travis Lavigne’s Cloud Gate, and directing The Trail to Oregon (PTS).
